Glimmerka is a full e-commerce experience for a beauty and
lifestyle brand
built from the ground up with a custom storefront, multilingual
support, smart database architecture, and a powerful admin
dashboard that keeps the business running smoothly.
Custom Design, Built for the Brand
Every screen was designed around Glimmerka's warm, elegant identity, soft earth tones, clean typography, and a layout that lets products breathe. From the hero banner to product cards and checkout, nothing is a generic template. The site feels like the brand itself: refined, approachable, and memorable.
We paid close attention to spacing, imagery, and hover interactions so browsing feels intentional, not cluttered. The result is a storefront that converts visitors into customers while staying true to Glimmerka's aesthetic.
Change Language, Instantly
Glimmerka serves customers in more than one language. We built a full internationalisation layer so visitors can switch languages on the fly, navigation, product names, descriptions, cart labels, and checkout text all update without reloading the page.
This makes the store accessible to a wider audience and gives the brand room to grow into new markets without rebuilding the site from scratch.
Smart Database Integrations
Behind the scenes, Glimmerka runs on a modern database stack that handles products, orders, and customer data reliably. We evaluated several options and chose the most cost-effective setup for the project's scale, powerful enough to grow, without paying for enterprise features the business doesn't need yet.
Product catalogues, inventory, and order history are all stored securely and synced in real time, so the storefront and admin panel always show the same data.
Full Control, One Dashboard
The admin page gives the Glimmerka team everything they need in one place. Add or remove products with a few clicks, see summaries of what's in stock, and manage the entire catalogue without touching code.
Orders come in with full customer details, name, contact, items, and notes. Staff can review each order, mark it as delivered, or remove it from the queue once it's handled. No spreadsheets, no confusion, just a clean workflow from purchase to delivery.
Email Sending & Notifications
We integrated an automated email system that instantly notifies Glimmerka's team whenever a new customer places an order. This ensures no purchase goes unnoticed and allows for quick fulfillment.
Customers also receive automated order confirmations and updates, building trust and keeping communication clear without requiring manual effort from the team.
